Exciting times at the Village Hall

Go to the "News" page for details and photos of the building of our new small hall and the first phase of the play park refurbishment

The Village Hall is situated in the centre of  Bishops Lydeard at the junction of Hither Mead and Mount Street.  It has a  large hall which is licensed to accommodate 200 people and a small hall which is licensed for100.  There is also a well equipped kitchen which includes an six burner gas cooker and good area of work space.

The Village Hall grounds consist of a car park for 30 vehicles, a play park, multi use games area and a large green.

The halls are very well used by the regular user groups but we do have capacity for occasional users and the halls make a very good venue for parties, meetings, wedding receptions, etc.  The Hall holds a Premises licence covering entertainment and the sale of alcohol.
